The mechanical work is all done, although Poppy has a temporary engine in whilst we await a new one off the production line via VW Heritage
John and his team now have Poppy back in their arch and the final preparation for her paint work is being done. As always making the surg=face as smooth as possible is the key to getting the best possible finish for the paintwork.
The pressure is now on as we need Poppy completed by the end of March so that we can get her into a 5 van display with the volkswagen Type 2 Owners Club at this years volksworld show on the 2nd and 3rd April. Can it happen in just 2 weeks? we have no nails left in the office as we are steadily chewimg them down to the knuckle at the moment.
