It is starting to get real now, after a year of waiting Poppy is in the mechanical arch and Viadas and Simon are starting to create a list of all of the parts needed to complete her mechanically.
There are a number of items on the must have list including a new SSP engine from VW Heritage, a rebuilt gearbox with overdrive and the one thing that makes life easier for all of our clients, a single set of matching keys for all of her locks.
Viadas has estimated that it will take about 2 weeks to refit the mechanics to Poppy and it will be interesting to see her moving using her own power again after so long off the road.
